We continuously study most all approaches to acting and singing (Adler, Chekhov, Chubbuck, Guskin, Hagen, Meisner, Strasberg, Mamet, Moss, Morris, Spolin, Stanislavski and more) so that our performers are not missing out on anything: you get a clear, specific, practical approach to acting and singing -- for film, television and theater. In addition, we offer services that go way beyond simple acting and musical theater classes. That's why we work with so many performing artists that book job after job.

Our school was founded by Jason Bennett to offer "superior" actor and musical theater training. By this, we don't mean we think we are superior to others. We mean our actor and musical theater training is of the highest quality.

Some of our Acting Workshops are held at a beautiful retreat in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania. Read all about it here.

One reason the school was founded is because a few schools still only teach one system, or they teach rules, about how to approach acting and musical theater. Although we offer tools from all the recognized major approaches to performance, our tools our quite specific and yield profound results. We do not promote rules or religions about performance. Instead, we "free" your talent. We help you cultivate your unique artistic vision. Our work is clear, intense and practical. Our work will empower you and connect you deeply to the energies and qualities that characterize amazing performance. We believe in fostering indviduality and self-sufficiency.

In our work, we honor the traditions and innovations of all the past Master acting teachers. Their work makes everything we do possible. And there have been so many advances in consciousness, creative psychology and in actor and musical theater training in the last 20 years alone, it could fill a book (and will soon). You get all these advances at our school. Studying current methods being evolved by living teachers makes a huge difference to the work -- it saves you lots of time, frustration, and money. And it means you're far more likely to book jobs in film, television and theater.

Stanislavski, a father of 20th Century actor training, knew that actor and musical theater training would evolve long after his death -- that his "system" should be improved upon. That's what we're doing. Because we integrate huge advances in human consciousness, psychology and acting process into the training we offer, we are confident the services we offer are unique.

Here is a small sampling of some the unique benefits of studying acting, voice or movement with our faculty:

• All our work we is non-blaming, non-judgmental, non-abusive, safe and most of the time really fun! Our classes are free of teacher mind-games or manipulation -- or teachers who regret teaching. Many actors with previous training are shocked and relieved to exprience our abuse-free acting and musical theater classes that produce truly great work.

• Our scene-study and musical theater classes are among smallest in the country. At about four hours long, our classes allow you to work about 45 minutes every single week in class. And, obviously, you work even more if you take more classes per week. Some schools have 25 students per class and you work every few weeks in classes that are only two hours long.

• We have working actors in our classes from all over the world. Our actors and singers are respectful, intelligent, diverse, ambitious, ethical and full of life. Our classes are bursting with fun, passion and energy. We have comedic actors; versatile actors; new and seasoned; and singers of all sorts. Jason Bennett has coached national television personalities, attorneys, activists, teachers and politicians. Our performers are deeply respectful of one another and do not gossip. Many in our classes develop friendships and bond with colleagues in a way that seems like it will last a life-time.
