John Gregorio has been performing and teaching improvisation for 15 years. Starting at Florida State University with the formation of the Whammo Players, he created the theater school’s first improv group and workshop. Next, was founding and running Dad’s Garage Theatre which became Atlanta’s first and only TheatreSports company where he helped form their high school improv outreach program as well as numerous corporate workshops. John Gregorio also created Atlanta’s perennial, international improvisation fest, the World Domination Festival.

John Gregorio has trained with Keith Johnstone (Impro, Impro for Storytellers), Dennis Kahill (Loose Moose Theater), Del Close and Charna Halpern (ImrovOlympic). In 2001 he formed The Nuclear Family in New York City which has performed in festivals throughout the country, had a smash Off-Broadway run at the Belt Theater in 2004 and went on to develop a televison version for the Sundance channel entitled The Extended Family. He and The Nuclear Family are currently running at their new home, The Barrow Street Theatre.
